Along with the launch of the Apple iPhone 5, there were even the updated versions of the music players, i.e. the Apple iPods. The Apple iPod Nano and the iPod Touch has got the newer versions, as Apple launches the iPod Nano 7th generation, an the Apple iPod Touch has got the 5th generation.

The new 7th Generation iPod Nano is going to be very lighter, around 50% the weight of the previous iPod Nano, and would boast a pretty big screen size of 2.5-inches breaking the records from the previous versions. The screen is going to be a multi-touch one, and there are a few incredible features the iPod Nano would come in with.

Apple iPod Nano 7th Gen

The Apple iPod Nano 7th Gen would be having an integrated FM Tuner along with the Live Pause option. Video is back on the iPod nano. Fitness / pedometer built-in, integrated with Nike+ out of the box. The 2.5-inch screen of the iPod Nano would give a widescreen video display when viewed in the landscape mode.

The new connector named Lightning, which was launched even for the iPhone 5, is what the iPod Nano would have too.
The iPod Nano 7th Gen would be having the battery with the longest battery life, providing around 30 hours of continuous music playback.

The Nano is going to come in 7 colors, and the front is going to have a single button below the vertically long screen.
It is going to be priced at $149 for the 16GB version, and the new version of the iPod Nano is going to be available in October 2012.
